Yes — training can begin at Part 1 and continue through Part 2 and Part 3, combining in-car, online, written, AI-supported and peer-learning methods depending on the trainee's stage and needs.

Yes. Part 3 rescue and development support is available for PDIs who are struggling with their current training, aren't making the progress they expected, have previously failed a Part 3 attempt, or want another perspective on their development. A trainee doesn't need to have completed their previous training with Josh or Instruct IQ. This isn't positioned as a shortcut or test-passing technique.

Yes. PDI sponsorship is available for suitable trainee licence holders working toward full ADI qualification. Where a trainee remains under the Instruct IQ brand, support can continue through qualification and into their work as an ADI.

Support doesn't stop at qualification. Qualified ADIs can continue engaging with development opportunities and online sessions through The PDI School, and can approach Josh for further development or Standards Check support. ADIs working under the Instruct IQ brand can also receive learner and business support where appropriate, and are expected to take part in occasional observation between instructors to help maintain professional standards.

Where suitable and available, yes. Trainees can observe Josh delivering real driving lessons, and can also work with Josh while teaching learners themselves. This can begin from Part 1 rather than waiting until Part 3.

Josh starts by establishing the individual's current position rather than assuming every trainee needs to follow the same route. This includes understanding their previous experience, existing knowledge, current stage of training and how they learn most effectively. Josh and the trainee then work collaboratively to identify development needs and decide how training should be structured. There's a structure to the training, but how it's used differs for each individual. Trainees are also encouraged to develop their own awareness and take increasing responsibility for their professional development, with guidance and support where needed. The aim isn't to treat Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 as isolated tests — the wider objective is to develop an effective driving educator who can continue developing after qualification.

Training through Instruct IQ is supported by the KEEP Principle: Knowledge, Enable, Examine, Progress or Pivot. It provides a structure for establishing what someone currently knows, enabling further development, examining progress, and then deciding whether to progress or change the approach. It doesn't mean every trainee receives identical training — the individual's starting point, development and needs determine how the structure is applied.

Methods can include one-to-one in-car training, observation of real driving lessons in both directions (trainees observing Josh, and Josh observing trainees), online training, written learning and development resources, AI-supported learning and reflection, recorded content through The PDI School, and peer learning where suitable. As a trainee develops, the balance of training can shift to encourage greater independence, self-awareness and responsibility for their own development.
